OKOA Capital · Guiding Principles

What we hold to

The standards we hold ourselves to on every transaction, whoever is across the table and whatever the market is doing.

For borrowers

Capital deployed

Our terms flex. Our word does not.

We will move on structure, timing and collateral. We will not move on what we promised. A date we give is a date we keep. If we cannot keep it, you hear early, and you hear why.

Speed is a form of respect

Builders and operators live on deadlines. The people who decide are the people you talk to, so answers come quickly and funding moves. Up to $5M in as little as 2 weeks.

You talk to the person who decides

There is no committee behind the committee. The people across the table say yes or no. Your answer does not wait for a meeting nobody has scheduled.

For investors

Capital entrusted

Principal comes home first

We would rather sit on cash than push a bad deal through. Before we lend, we ask one question: if things go wrong, does the collateral still cover the base? Getting the money back is the first job. The return comes second.

Diligence before conviction

We do the work before we form a view: the asset, the title, the numbers, the way out. That holds whether we are first in line on the collateral or second. Good facts are how we move quickly without guessing, and how we stand behind a position long after it is written.

Our money sits next to yours

OKOA commits its own capital to the deals it originates. When a deal goes well or badly, we feel it the same way you do. That is not a talking point. It is the reason we look this hard before anything closes.

A working draft. Tell us what rings false.
